Hey Rebel,
We made it to the final week of Frazzled to Full.
And we’re closing with the one truth women avoid more than anything:
Rest
Not the cute kind of rest. Not the aesthetic cozy blanket + tea rest. Not the I’ll rest when I crash rest.
I’m talking about the real rest our bodies are begging for. The kind most women hide, apologize for, or sneak in behind closed doors.
Which brings me to this week’s podcast episode:
🎙️ Ladies Don’t Rest. They Recover In Secret.
This episode is deeply personal, and honestly, it’s the one that scared me to record. Because I share a moment I’ve never forgotten:
The night I had a panic attack so intense I couldn’t find my way home.
I knew the streets. I knew where I was. But my brain shut down. My nervous system collapsed.
That night forced me to see the truth:
I was hiding my exhaustion so well that even I stopped believing it was real.
And I know I’m not the only one. Take a moment for this 15 minute episode!

Why Women Don’t Rest (And Why It Shows Up as Panic, Irritability, Rage, or Numbness)
We grew up learning that rest was something you earn:
- after the work is done
- after everyone else is settled
- after the house is clean
- after the holiday chaos
- after the to-do list shrinks
- after you’ve proven yourself
Except… the work is never done. The needs never stop. The list never ends.
And your hormones never get the memo that rest is coming later.
The result?
Your body rests for you and the forced rest looks like panic attacks, burnout, hormone crashes, emotional shutdown, brain fog, sudden rage, or a complete freeze response.
That night I couldn’t find my way home was my body doing what my mind refused to do: Stop.
This Week’s Theme: Rest You Don’t Have to Hide
Week 1 was about safety…
Week 2 about rhythm…
Week 3 about doing less…
Week 4 is about letting rest be seen.
Rest you don’t apologize for. Rest you don’t earn. Rest you don’t schedule after a meltdown. Rest you don’t justify to anyone.
Rest that is allowed.
Rest that is legitimate.
Rest that is yours.
Because here’s the hormone truth no one taught us:
- Cortisol lowers when you stop performing strength you don’t have
- Progesterone stabilizes when you slow down enough to breathe
- Blood sugar steadies when you stop rushing
- Your brain reorients when you soften into safety
- Your nervous system repairs when you let stillness exist without shame
You can’t become full without rest. You can’t become sparkly without slowing down.
A Rest Cue You Can Do in 30 Seconds
The 5-5-5 Reset
- Inhale for 5
- Exhale for 5
- Relax your shoulders for 5 seconds
Repeat twice.
Final Thought of the Month
Frazzled to Full wasn’t about becoming perfect. We looked at coming home to your body again (especially when you’ve pushed, silenced, overworked, and tucked behind expectations for years).
This month you learned:
✨ Safety before gratitude
✨ Fuel before burnout
✨ Less before rage
✨ Rest before collapse
💛 Vulnerable Question of the Week
Have you ever had a moment when your body stopped for you through panic, overwhelm, shutdown, tears, or a fog you couldn’t snap out of?
Hit reply and tell me. I read every single message (yes, all of them). 💛
